Superboys of Malegaon is a film based on the life of Nasir Shaikh, an amateur filmmaker from the town of Malegaon. City dwellers seek a much-needed escape from the daily grind in Bollywood cinema. Nasir is inspired by the people of Malegaon to make a film about the people of Malegaon. He brings his motley crew of friends together to bring his vision to life and breathe new life into the town. The film is a poignant yet inspiring look at filmmaking and friendship – and what happens when these two worlds collide.
