Over 25 years and 10 studio albums – using brutal sonic power mixed with subtlety and grace – Mogwai have defined their own musical genre and built a loyal following while staying true to their sound and their roots. The film takes us on a journey from their beginnings in the mid-1990s to the writing and rehearsing of their tenth studio album in Glasgow, Scotland in 2020 – a record recorded during quarantine. Although it seemed impossible at first, they eventually made history with it.
