Scenario
In this 19th-century supernatural winter epic, a drunken applejack salesman must go from zero to hero and become the greatest fur trapper in North America by defeating hundreds of beavers. Director Mike Cheslik estimated that the mascot costumes cost around $10,000, and the crew purchased all of the costumes online. After Watson Beaver «passes out,» his mustache falls off and lands in the snow as he stands up.
Funniest movie I’ve seen in years!

Tons of gratuitous beaver violence
I saw it in Columbus, Ohio. It’s like Wiley Coyote meets Oregon Trail. I highly recommend it to anyone with an old-school sense of humor!

The originality of the creators and the performances of the very small main cast make this a must-see for 2024. The film’s dark slapstick humor is a welcome cinematic addition for viewers tired of boring political films. Hundreds of Beavers is an example of what a dedicated group of independent filmmakers can do on a shoestring budget.
