A group of survivors of a rage virus live on a small island. When one of the group leaves the island to go on a mission to the mainland, they discover secrets, wonders, and horrors that have mutated not only the infected but the other survivors as well. The trailer features a distinctive recording of Rudyard Kipling’s poem «Boots,» read by actor Taylor Holmes in 1915. The poem’s repetitive rhythm is reminiscent of British soldiers marching during the Boer War, and this recording of the poem is used by the U.S. military to simulate the psychological suffering of being in captivity.
